Branding for Wasmer
All work and no play makes Wasmer a dull product. We had a solution.
S19
Wasmer is a YC-backed WebAssembly company building towards a pretty big idea: software that can run anywhere, from its open-source runtime to globally distributed compute.
Developer aesthetics are so been there, done that. So, when a groundbreaking product like Wasmer came to us for branding, we naturally wanted to do things a bit differently. We kept the product's technical precision and forward-looking ambition, then sprinkled in optimism, openness and a sense of endless possibility.
One Wasmer, many worlds. Each feature comes with its own palette and visual character, giving it a world of its own while keeping everything part of the same system.
Through natural language, explanatory illustrations and a website designed around clarity, we made complex concepts easier to grasp and the value clear from the first scan. The edge we brought to the brand couldn't come at the expense of its technical expertise.
Product designWasmer is built for speed. So is the interface. Clear structure and concise language keep interactions efficient.
With a groundbreaking solution, Wasmer needed an identity just as transgressive. We gave an industry-redefining product a look that felt true to both the technology and the people using it.

Wasmer x Overnice
We love getting our hands dirty for this one. There from the start, we shaped Wasmer's first brand and product, then stayed close through years of iterations, eventually rebranding and redesigning the product for its next chapter.
