Brutalist simplicity
_______ is a software engineering studio. They solve the hard architecture challenges, with brutal precision and confidence that comes from years of experience. Our job was to bring that vibe into their brand and website.
ABC Monument Grotesk established a foundation that the rest of the identity could build on — guiding iconography, patterns, and layout with the same sense of structure and clarity.
Icons extend the system. Reduced to essentials, they feel carved from weight, angle, and cut, enforcing a language that is strict and brutal — but also distinct.
Patterns add rhythm through isometric grids and depth, transforming flat space into a touch of 3D.
The color palette draws from concrete and steel, softened through a warm orange, which shows that software, much like architecture, thrives when structure and human experience are intertwined.
The website is where the identity comes together. Typography, icons, patterns, and colors are reinforced through grid, motion, and content. The result is a digital structure that mirrors the principles of architecture-first software: precise, consistent, and built to last.
The grid carries through into interactions. Layouts shift and align with clarity, while on-scroll animations add rhythm and direction; the movement reinforces the structure, making the digital experience feel as deliberate as the identity itself.
The system adapts seamlessly to vertical layouts. On smaller screens, it keeps the same weight and clarity, proving the identity holds across every scale.
Even the technology wall follows the concept. A lineup of logos becomes part of the structure, turning a functional element into something bold and deliberate.
